Dan Weir

Dan is the Co-Founder of Day Camp Community and Senior Consultant at Immersive1st. He has been developing day and overnight camps for over 20 years. Known for taking on the challenges facing youth serving organizations, Dan was the Camp Director for Frost Valley YMCA before overseeing 7 day camps in NY.

With a Master’s Degree specializing in youth development, Dan’s work has been recognized for program and research excellence. He has volunteered in multiple capacities for the American Camp Association and the New York State Camp Directors Association. He is a regular speaker at conferences across the country.

Dan also loves being a camper parent.
