Betsy Martin
Betsy is a highly accomplished graduate of the University of Leeds, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Economics. Her academic background has provided her with a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
Betsy’s professional experience includes serving as the Assistant Director and Camp Staff Advocate at French Woods Sports and Arts Center, one of the premier teen-focused camps in the United States. During her tenure, she played a key role in managing various operational aspects of the camp, while also providing vital support to both staff and campers. Her leadership and commitment to fostering a positive camp environment were integral to the success of the camp’s programs.
In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Betsy was also actively involved in leading the camp’s Equestrian Program, where she demonstrated her ability to coordinate and manage specialized activities while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants.
Through her diverse experiences, Betsy has developed an exceptional understanding of the staff/camper dynamic, allowing her to effectively navigate and support the various needs of both teams and individuals in a camp setting. Her ability to connect with people, coupled with her leadership skills, make her a valuable asset in any professional environment.
